Will lack of confidence in congress affect Wall Street?

PALM BEACH COUNTY, Fla. - While a lot of the focus is on the numbers on Wall Street, long after the debt ceiling debate, what is happening in Washington may still be playing a big role in the stock market and our economy’s fragile state. Some say a lack of confidence is to blame.

Congress didn't win any points in the drawn out debate over the debt ceiling. People, especially seniors, were upset.

"They should be the first ones not paid for not doing the right thing for the elderly and everybody else," said Rochelle Gaenger of Lake Worth.

The effects on the small business community and the stock market may just be beginning.

"It's really a leadership question, and all politics aside, this is what the markets are talking about and this is what they're basing their reactions on," explained Northwood University Professor George Stamas.

Stamas teaches finance and economics at Northwood’s West Palm Beach campus. He's also a financial advisor and entrepreneur.

George Bush Sr. Talking about Northwood in 1990

We love visiting the stylists at the Daniel Hersheson salon at the best of times (if you haven’t yet had one of George Northwood’s invisible trims then we urge you do). That’s a given. But on Sunday the 27th June, there is an extra special reason to book in - and book in you must. Here is why: the salon’s doors are being opened in the name of charity (they are never normally open on Sundays) and all cut and colour appointments will be HALF price (yes, that’s right) with ALL the proceeds going towards HAIRraising, a charity set up by John Frieda - Daniel Hersheson himself is also a co-founder - to build new operating theatres for the children of Great Ormond Street Hospital. There is literally no reason not to.

Bush is the anthrax terrorist, that he, as president, ordered or approved the mailing of weaponized anthrax produced by the CIA, Fort Detrick, Dugway or some other secret U.S. germ warfare program, that he personally selected some or all the targets and that he did so as a kind of Operation Northwoods meant to justify..."
