New Demons' coach Viney swings selection axe

COLIN Sylvia and Liam Jurrah were the biggest casualties as new Melbourne coach Todd Viney swung the selection axe at the embattled club.

The Demons dropped Sylvia, Jurrah, Addam Maric and Daniel Nicholson for tomorrow’s match against Carlton at the MCG.

Ruckman Mark Jamar will also miss the game with a foot injury.

Melbourne sacked Dean Bailey and appointed Viney as caretaker coach last Sunday, a day after the disastrous 31-goal loss to Geelong.

Tom Scully, Aaron Davey and Clint Bartram are the big-name inclusions for Melbourne, with Joel MacDonald and Max Gawn also returning.

The in-form Blues recalled Aaron Joseph at the expense of Ryan Houlihan.

Essendon must beat Sydney at Etihad Stadium tomorrow night to stay in finals contention and the Bombers will have three important recalls.

Michael Hurley, Heath Hocking and Dustin Fletcher are all set to return from injury after Brent Prismall (knee) and Travis Colyer (foot) were ruled out for the rest of the season.

Which of these Teams Would win in a 5 game series?

What Team Wins in a 5 game Series, And Why?
Everyone is healthy
And by how many games? Like 3 games to 2?
Bonus Question: How would you arrange the batting lineup on team 1, and how would you arrange the batting lineup for team 2?

I go with team 2 they have better pitching, but barely they would win 3 to 2. Team 1 has got a little better bats, but I like team 2's starting rotation and pen. Team 1 has the better bench too. I got team 2 though.

Lineup for Team 1.
