Crusell-viikon fagottikisa jatkuu ilman suomalaisia

Uudenkaupungin Crusell-viikolla parhaillaan käytävän kansainvälisen fagottikilpailun alkukilpailusta ei selvinnyt jatkoon yhtään suomalaista.

Välierään valittiin kymmenen fagotistia. Jatkoon selviytyivät Sebastian Stevensson Ruotsista, Constantin Barcov Romaniasta, Daniel Bäz Saksasta, Sophie Dartigalongue Ranskasta, Lola Descours Ranskasta, Odile Meisterlin Ranskasta, Nana Ozaki Japanista, Jun Tea Park Etelä-Koreasta, Theo Plath Saksasta ja Mylène Poulard Ranskasta.

Tuomariston muodostivat Jussi Särkkä, joka toimi puheenjohtajana, Pariisin Kansallisoopperan soolofagotisti Gilbert Audin, Hannoverin musiikkikorkeakoulun professori Dag Jensen, Tapiola Sinfoniettan äänenjohtaja Jaakko Luoma, Baijerin radion sinfoniaorkesterin soolofagotisti Eberhard Marschall ja Juilliard School of Music’in professori Frank Morelli.

Kilpailun palkinnot ovat 6000, 3000 ja 2000 euroa. Lisäksi voidaan jakaa erikoispalkintoja. Voittajalle järjestetään esiintyminen vuoden 2012 Crusell-viikolla.
