Orlando Pita, celebrity hairstylist, to give demo at Cleveland event

He's worked with celebrity clients such as Gwyneth Paltrow and Alicia Keys and design houses such as Gucci and Chanel. On Sunday, July 31, high-end hairstylist Orlando Pita will share his expertise with Cleveland.

Pita will be at the House of Blues for a Hollywood-style event complete with a red carpet, meet-and-greet cocktail reception and two-hour style demonstration.

It's the first event arranged by Prestige Au Courant , a new Cleveland business that organizes educational programs for stylists.

"He's a rock star, basically," said Angela Presti, founder and president of Prestige Au Courant and manager of Scott Fisher Salon in Chagrin Falls. "It's amazing that we were able to get someone as big as him for our first event."

Just how big is he? When we caught up with him last week, he was being chauffeured through New York City after wrapping a shoot with Yves Saint Laurent and was still a little jet-lagged from styling for Christian Dior and others at fashion week in Paris.

How To Create the Look:

Orlando first applied argan oil-infused Moroccanoil Light throughout dry hair to create a healthy looking frizz-free shine, and smooth, healthy-look ends.

Next, he applied Moroccanoil Hydrating Styling Cream mid way from the back of hair to the ends, then blow dried the hair smooth and straight with a round brush.
